After years of development, Kaweco proudly announces that they have perfected the iconic sport model as a piston filler. Kaweco Sport Piston Filler Solo features black matte anodized aluminium with gold-plated elements. It comes in a vintage-inspired tin box.
The Kaweco Sport Piston Filler is one of the smallest in relation to size and ink volume. This is possible due to its clever and compact mechanism. The iconic pocket-sized fountain pen only measures 10.5 cm when closed and grows to an average size of 13 cm with the cap attached. Thanks to the small size, the pen is ideal for on-the-go and ensures a long and pleasant writing experience.
The transparent ink window allows you to monitor the ink level at all times. If the ink runs out, the piston filler can be refilled quickly and easily thanks to the exceptionally smooth-running refill mechanism. This filling system also enables the use of inks in an unsurpassed variety of colours, as many ink colours are only filled in bottles.
The matt, anodised surface of the robust aluminium body is highly durable and gives the pen a high-quality haptic. The perfect balance between the weight and diameter of the fountain pen also ensures that one’s hand does not become tired even after long periods of writing. The combination with golden elements enhances the functionality with stylish elegance and thus combines traditional filling methods with the modern age.

Kaweco is a manufacturer of writing instruments with a long and interesting history. Heinrich Koch and Rudolph Weber bought a nib factory in Heidelberg in 1899. The name Kaweco is made up of the initial letters of the two founders K+W with the co of company. With vision and tireless effort, together with love and passion for details, they managed to turn Kaweco into a global brand. Kaweco is now sold in 40 countries. The nibs of the Kaweco fountain pens are manufactured in Germany by the Bock family business (founded in the 1920s), which has been committed to producing perfect writing nibs for almost a hundred years. In 2023, Kaweco's celebrated its 140th anniversary.
