Pilot Fountain Pen Capless Limited Edition 2023 - Kanreki [Fine]
Pilot celebrates the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the capless fountain with this special limited edition. Kanreki is a term used in Japanese culture to celebrate a 60th birthday, and has connotations of rebirth and renewal - apt symbolism for a pen which is constantly being refined with new colors, trims, and special add-on features.
The symbolic red, hi-gloss finish on this pen represents protection and adds a touch of vibrancy that will surely inspire you to write your heart out. The matte black accents complement the striking red, making it a perfect blend of sophistication and boldness – just like those who have seen 60 glorious years!
The nib of the Kanreki Limited Edition is crafted from luxurious 18-karat gold, coated in black. Get your hands on this Kanreki Limited Edition Vanishing Point, and let the words flow like never before. Remember, just like turning 60, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will make you feel truly extraordinary!

The start of Pilot goes back to 1918. Professor Ryosuke Namiki taught at the maritime college in Tokyo. His goal was to improve the existing writing and drawing materials he used for his lessons. Together with his colleague Masao Wada he founded the company - the Namiki Manufacturing Company. In 1938 the name was changed to The Pilot Pen Co. Ltd, which was changed to PILOT CORPORATION in 1989. The lifebuoy around the "P" in the logo symbolizes to look ahead when others look back, just like the old sailor (Pilot = helmsman or pilot) who navigated his ship through strange waters to discover the unknown. The mother company is still based in Japan, where innovation and improvement of technology are constantly being sought. The mother company now has many branches all over the world.
