Visconti Fountain Pen Van Gogh GT Kit - Flowering Plum Orchard

Flowering Plum Orchard is the second oil painting selected by Visconti from Van Gogh’s Japanese series. Vincent Van Gogh made this painting in 1887 from a Japanese print by Hiroshige, called Plum Garden in Kameido The ancient plum tree that was the subject of the original print had the poetic nickname of “the sleeping dragon plum tree”. Van Gogh accurately reproduced the composition with more intense colors replacing the black and grey of Hiroshige's tree trunk with red and blue tones He also added the two orange borders with Japanese characters for a decorative and exotic effect. This Visconti Van Gogh series is made from natural resin uniquely blended to represent palettes of oil paints and is inspired by the artist's color and technique. The Van Gogh collection is distinguished in a special way by its attention to detail. For example, the name of the painting in question and Van Gogh's name are embossed on each cap edge of the pen.As a result, each fountain pen has its own unique color palette. The Visconti fountain pen has the well-known eighteen facets, where the many edges enhance the vibrant colours.
